If the cleaner in the swimming pool puts too much cleaning substance in the swimming pool what might happen? What are the possible consequences of this? Its in the wrong category I know but the swimming section is dead.

My pool cleaner was working just fine, but today I noticed it wasn’t moving or cleaning at all. So, realized is socking water in but it is not moving, cleaning or doing anything.

How could i fix this problem?

Are there any home swimming pool cleaning solutions that can be made from typical household cleaners? Thanks? Not so small inflatable type pool approx. 500 gallons. 8ft round X 21in high. I live in SE Alaska and the nearest store that sells pool chemical equipment is on another island and is somewhat difficult to travel to. Is there some recipe of bleach or whatever to keep some sort of pool cleanliness before or after the kids would like to use it? Thanks in advance!

Walmart and Meijer both have chemicals for those little pools, plus they have scooper and a little floating thing that holds your chemicals. When I had one I would get in every day and run in circles around it (its a great way to exercise) and then when it started a whirlpool I would get out (stand on something that isn’t dirty) and then when all of the dirt settles in the middle you jump in and scoop it it. Its really easy, it takes a total of like 10 minutes, its a great work out and it keeps your pool clean. Good luck.

If you have the best pool cleaner, you are assured of a sparkly clean pool in your residence. However, numerous cleaning products are sold every day and claim that the one they are selling is the best cleaner there is. Calling for the cleaning service may be a good option but that would cost you more than you intend to spend. A good cleaner would be a good idea, but you would have to choose the best out there.

Before you start buying one, try giving certain factors a second thought.

First, check the materials your pool is made of. This will give you an idea on which pool cleaner to use because different products work best depending on the pool surface. There are those pool cleaners that only work for gunite or vinyl or sometimes both. It would be more practical if you buy something that can work on many surfaces than something that will only work on one type of surface.

I  know some have their own filter and some use the pools filter, but I’m looking for a low maintenance, inexpensive and good cleaning unit without a lot of parts that break. anyone like the polaris 165?

Not the accordian hose, but it’s hard plastic hose that’s part of the cleaner itself. The patch (or whatever it is) needs to be not only waterproof, but also able to stick to hard plastic. I tried something called Hole Solution, which sucked. Thankyou.
