Best Pool Cleaner

The absolute best pool cleaner for me would be a booster pump powered Polaris, any model, which is used by top pool builders. If your budget doesn’t allow spending 1800 bucks then my vote is for both the Kreepy Krauly and the Hayward Navigator. Both have their strengths and weaknesses and a lot will depend if this is a concrete or vinyl pool. Kreepy’s have a tendency to plow through just about anything, but they also tend to get stuck on many pool shapes unless you purchase the optional back up device for them. The Navigators don’t tend to get stuck, but they are also not as adept at climbing walls or powering through heavy debris.
