The flow rate for this pump is 2500 gallon per hour. It fits 18 and 24 diameter Intex frame set pools and easy set pools and also fits all filter pumps and above ground pools that use 1.50" hoses with clamps or screw on type Intex hoses. The valve should be released for trapped air. The mounted waterproof on and off switch and it is easy to install, where you simply hook up hoses and plug it in. One filter cartridge included and installs making this filter pump ready for immediate use

Cms Worldwide went out of their way to get me my much needed parts for my new pool pump that I ordered from them. I bought parts directly from Intex what a joke 3 weeks and Im still waiting Cms orders on fri 6/8 had them mon 6/11 what superior service. THANK YOU CMS!!!!

We have an Easy Set 18′ x 4′ pool. This is its second season. The original 1500 gph pump worked only intermittently this season, so I decided to replace it with a 2500gph pump. Wow, this pump really moves the water. It actually starts to collapse the hoses when you vacuum too. It’s definately an improvement over the 1500gph pump. I just hope it lasts longer than the other pump.

The original pump that came with our 12 ft pool couldn’t keep the pool clean if it ran constantly. I bought another one from Aqua Leisure which worked great but it sets horizontally and leaked(not a good design). So I kept tightening and tightening the lid but it continued to leak. Finally the cap broke because I tightened too tight. So I bought this pump. It is fabulous, it really moves the water.
I read the reviews on the adapters and didn’t order them initially. I tried to get some kind of adapter locally. Pool supply places didn’t carry anything because they don’t deal with these inexpensive above ground pools. My local hardware put something together for me but it didn’t work. You have to have a special kind of connector. PVC connections don’t work. So against the advise of all the reviews on the adapters I went ahead and ordered them.
Well you can’t believe all the reviews I guess. These connectors hooked up so easy and not even a tiny leak. There are the adaptors and the plunger valves in a set. It won’t work without the valves. Plus they add their own convenience. No more trying to cover the holes while you change the filter. They are shut off valves. How cool is that? The information with the adaptors said to check and recheck. So I was worried. But no problemo. They work great. I have no idea why the other reviewers couldn’t make these work. I did it and I am a girl!
Oh yeah, the pump works great! Just don’t forget the adaptors and valves to go with it.

I should have bought this pump years ago. It works like one you’d find in an in-ground pool. Terrific suction and you can clean your pool in a snap. I also bought the surface skimmer which cleans off the top of the pool in about 15 minutes! We don’t use the hand held skimming net any more.
I just feel Intex should package this pump with all of their pools 15′ and up because the ‘toy pump’ they package with it hardly circulates the water. 5 out of 5 from me!

I love the pump. I was using the ones size smaller last year and when i plugged it in this year it was not working. I had to replace it and was going to go with the same one but decided to go one size bigger. What a difference. It moves so much more water and makes vacuuming much quicker and easier. The pool water is moving so much more through the pump and keeping the water cleaner that i spend less time and chemicals trying to keep it clean. The only thing i would recommend if you order it and dont already have it is to get the stiffer hoses for your skimmer. If my vacuum is plugging up a little or just not moving enough water it will collapse the hose from the skimmer to the outlet valve.
That is a minor problem.. I love the pump

Amazon gives me a toy rating system for this pool pump – but it is everything but!! A terrific pump that I bought as a replacement for an 18 x 4 foot pool – as I was looking for a pump that I could really “vacuum” with. This filter was the ticket. It has ample power and suction to perform my task without a problem. The larger filter is wonderful in that now I no longer have to do the filter cleaning every other day but can go 1-2 weeks!! No more surface skimming either! I simply turn the pump on for 10 minutes before we get in and the skimmer basket combined with this pump does it for me!! In summary – I now love my pool a whole lot more!!

We recently purchased an 18′ x 4′ circular Intex above-ground pool set that came with a woefully inadequate 1500 gph filter pump. It could barely manage to keep the skimmer running for an hour before the type “A” filter got too clogged, and the water was continually cloudy. So, we decided to upgrade to the 2500 gph pump. This pump works great for our ~7500 gallon pool. It takes type “B” filters, which we only need to rinse off once a day. Our pool water really is “Krystal Klear”! We run the skimmer all night long, and the skimmer grabs all the bugs and leaves that inevitably fall into our pool overnight. The vacuum has plenty of “oomph” with this pump. It’s even less noisy than the 1500 gph pump we started with. Tips:
1) Vent the air out of the pump any time you start it up, or if you hear it get noisy (which can happen sometimes when starting the skimmer). If there is a lot of air trapped in the pump, it will not work well. The pump needs to be off when you vent it. “Pro tip”: Just barely open the air-release valves when venting! (Trust me on this one!)
2) Rinse off your filter regularly. Once a day works well for us, but this will vary. This pump can push a *lot* of water through the filter, so if your pool is really dirty it can clog the filter quickly! You will know when the filter needs rinsing because the output pressure will drop off noticeably.
3) This pump has some serious suction! You’ll probably want to turn it off when people–especially kids–are in the pool, just to be safe.

Krystal Klear Wet Set 2500 Gallon Intex Pool Filter Pump This pump really puts out the volume. It may have been too large for the pool I have however, it does the job and the water is clear and clean in just a few days. It doesn’t have to run as long as a smaller model Love the job it does.

I bought this to replace a 1500gpm pump that came with my pool after it broke. The difference is amazing! Last summer my pool was always a little murky and though it was clean and the chemicals balanced, the debris in the water never got cleared out. This new pump keeps my pool crystal clear!
